Saskatchewan OHS Fall protection regulations and SOT's

Did you know Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety takes Fall Protection very seriously?  Worker safety is an ever growing concern.  As of July 1, 2014 Saskatchewan OH&S has implemented Summary Offence Ticketing.  SOT's will impose a financial penalty to offenders right on the spot.  Tickets will mainly be directed toward employers, contractors, owners, self-employed persons and suppliers.

The details SOT's are listed at http://www.saskatchewan.ca/work/safety-in-the-workplace/complaints-enforcement-penalties-and-fines/summary-offence-ticketing

Saskatoon's Northern Strands Engineered Fall Protection Division is well versed in current Fall Protection Legislation and Regulations.  We pride ourselves in developing commercial rooftop fall protection systems that exceed OHS and CSA standards.  Some of the products we offer are rooftop anchors, wall anchors, overhead lifelines, safety railings, vertical lifelines, portable travel systems, safety harnesses and self-retracting lanyards.
